Pictures from Saturday

On the way to Mt. Hood!  Blue skies!!

My dad taking my daughter for a ride down the hill.

We saw a dad and his daughter going down the little bunny slope.  The daughter had on boots and a board (she was probably around 4-5) and the dad had a leash type thing on the back binding of the board.  As the daughter went down the low grade high, the dad was behind her controlling her speed.  We thought that was sweet and wanted to try with Pey - - until the boots were size 11 (she's only a size 6).  And she freaked out once they were on and wanted her Nike's back on.  Better luck next time maybe!!

Riding the life up Mt. Hood Express . . nothin' but a T-shirt on!

My dad stayed at the bottom of the mountain to play with Peytyn in the snow so I could make a few runs.  I used his board.

View from the top of Mt. Hood Express!

It got so hot that mid way down the slope I took off my shirt .. the last two runs I would start at the top with it off .. I wish I could do this everyday!!

My sister Brooke, daughter Peytyn and me.  I bought my Nike "Like a Boss" shirt and then went back later to get my sister the same one.  She's the reason why I even knew about it in the first place.

T-shirt and goggle sunburns!

T-shirt and glove sunburn .. luckily my scrubs and gloves at work cover the areas so it wasn't so bad.  Too bad my face couldn't be saved too much though.  But once I put my foundation, powder and blush on the area my goggles were, it didn't look too bad.  But still noticeable.

Snowboarding Mt. Hood 4/21/12

How many people can say they've snowboarded in a T-shirt .. or sports bra?  Maybe not everyone but I can say me and a few other girls on the mountain yesterday can say we have!

I went to Mt. Hood yesterday with my dad, daughter Peytyn, sister Brooke and her friend Lindsay.  What an awesome day to be boarding!  I'm not super great at it .. but it was fun and I'm really determine to getting better and more comfortable with my board.  I broke my elbow snowboarding when I was 13 so I'm a little cautious these days andMt. I admit, I never learned to go toe side so it really limits how I get down the slopes.  I was trying to practice going toe side and I made the smallest amount of progress as possible.  Haha.  I'm going back Friday so hopefully I can have some more success with that.

I have photos on my phone from that day that I'll upload through my blogger app.  You can follow me on Instagram @brittybaby105
